Roses

Pros: They are made by Cadbury. Which makes the best chocolate. Everyone knows this.

There is a fair variety on offer, no two flavours are similar enough for one to be discounted.

Con: It is easy to get them mixed up, the packing is so similar that you may find yourself chewing on a ‘Almond Caramel Bite’ when you really wanted a ‘Brazilian Darkness’. Hence a reliance on the menu card.

Quality Street

Pros: The purple one. Arguably the most popular from the tin, it is always the first to go in many households. They even sell a giant one separately they are so loved.

They are more of a Christmas occasion box of chocolates, where as Roses can be given at any time. You can’t really give a box of quality street as a mothers day gift that is not proper chocolate etiquette.

Con: Perhaps too much toffee? I know, we didn’t think it was possible either but lets face it when thinking of cons for a tin of chocolates it comes down to the wire.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter which one you have in your household, as long as you don’t put the wrappers back in the tin.
