Park Campus Facilities: A Tourist’s Guide

Harry and Matthew from our social media team have created a campus tour guide to ease your worries before starting university. We apologise in advance for the photography.

HELLO, FUTURE!

To kick things off here is a picture of Holdenby, the main entrance to education and your future at Park Campus. *Cue dramatic music and slow-mo walking.*

1. The Shop

They have meal deals!

We have a shop! Yes, here is our aptly named ‘Uni Express’ where you can buy anything from a Pepsi to a toothbrush. We particularly like the hot pasties.

2. The Bank & Cash Machine

Thanks for showing us how it’s done, Matthew.

The bank and cash machine. Student deals galore, friendly staff and the cash machine gives out £5 notes *dances*. We fully recommend a visit in your first few weeks to take advantage of their account offers.

3. The Students’ Union

Erm, where did Harry go?

Here we have the SU which hosts a range of events across the year, including club nights, comedy nights, live music and live sports. We also hear it’s a good place for a drink and is a Pokemon Gym!

5. The Coffee Shop

Ta Daa!

The Pavilion Café and bar is a great place to relax with a coffee after a long night studying/dancing. They also serve excellent paninis.

6. The Library

This is what reading looks like.

Here is our library. Some days you will spend so long in here that when you leave the sun will actually burn your skin. Make sure to stock up on Vaseline.

7. The Sports Hall & Gym

Bro, do you even lift?

If you love playing sports as much as we both clearly do, you’ll be interested to know that we have a sports hall and Gym on campus.

8. Unitemps

Harry…what?

Whether you’re looking for paid work experience or just a bit of extra cash, Unitemps are on campus and can help you find a job.

9. The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy

We also have a Multi-faith chapel on site which is open to students from any (or even no) faith and offers free tea and coffee, various classes and a fabulous friendly atmosphere.

10. Laundry

Get pumped and wash your clothes with pride! For you are now an adult.
