Heading off to the rain-forests of Borneo to help the locals and amazing wildlife, Jess is hoping to raise a total of £1995 for her 14 day trip. Your money will help her with her volunteering work which will range from teaching English to Khmer children to constructing new water storage facilities.

“ I hope my work will be valuable for generations and as I leave this wonderland I know I’ll go on to keep working towards conserving the areas as the Bornean Orangutan holds a special place in my heart.”

Whilst she is there Jess also plans to visit the world-renowned Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary, trekking through the wilderness and gliding down the Kinabatangan river in a long boat.

She will be writing a blog to keep us all updated throughout her trip, so you can see exactly how the money you have donated has been spent. Plus no doubt see some pretty amazing pictures of the fantastic wildlife in the Borneo rain-forests.

If you would like to contribute to this once in a life time trip please visit Jess’s fundraising page. You can also follow her journey on her blog.
