BA Marketing and Popular Music graduate, Tannia founded Ekhaya Visions, a digital African Arts & Culture Production company inspired by her 3rd year project. Read all about how she achieved her dreams:

Who would have thought a final year university project could achieve so much? Tannia made her dream a reality when she graduated, using the skills and experience gained from her course to launch Ekhaya Visions.

Ekhaya Visions produces and develops digital media communications platforms, music, motion pictures & films, digital specials & programming, mobile apps and games.

Day to day, Tannia’s jobs within the company involves research and development, content production, and creative direction which calls on the skills she developed throughout university. Her company’s first film is currently in its development phase and is scheduled for a summer 2017 release (and we cannot wait!).

“My Popular Music modules were the biggest ‘aha’ moments. The modules studied inspired my new focus and desire to contribute largely to the re-branding of the African narrative, and to an extent contribute to the national culture and identity of not just my home country of Zimbabwe; but also of the continent at large, as we continue the journey of Africa’s self-determination.”

We wish Tannia all the best and cannot wait to see the amazing work her company will produce!
