Every year the University of Northampton holds our Changemaker Awards to celebrate the achievements of students and staff in making a positive difference in their community.

We’re proud of the work that students have done, and we have an award winning team here to support you in making your ideas a reality, be it a charity, social enterprise or business.

We are the only university in England to have official status, so there’s no better place for you to kickstart your new venture. If you have an idea, we have the resources and funding to help you make it a reality when you arrive.

Henrietta Farrugia received a Changemaker Bronze certificate for a business producing and selling wine.

Oluwafemi Adewumi earned his Changemaker Bronze certificate for his work on a charity providing education to young people in Nigeria.

Gareth Hubbort received a Changemaker Gold certificate for their work, focusing on a holistic approach to family support developed from his pilot of supporting siblings of children with special education needs.

Our Student Changemaker of the Year is Marco Pastori, a student on the MSc Advanced Professional Practice (Occupational Therapy) for the development of Ready2Play, an inclusive football club for children in Italy.
