With only a few months to go before your amazing university journey starts, we asked graduates for some top activities they tried/wanted to try before they started their studies.

Read on, be inspired…

  1. Go on an adventure!

Take a 2 week trip around Europe via Interrail or perhaps travel for long, STA Travel have some amazing itinerary!

2. Take a trip with your friends.

What better way to spend time with your friends before you leave than to take a trip out of town. Perhaps you could take a look at deals abroad for a City Break or a sunny week on the beach. You could even visit the beautiful English coast.

3. Go on holiday with your parents/guardians (aw).

This could be the last time you go on a ‘all-paid’ holiday with your parents or guardians — make the most of it!

4. Catch up on that TV series that you really, really wanted to watch.

Once your studies start, you won’t have a lot of time for things like this. We’d recommend Game of Thrones. You’ve got 6 seasons x 10 episodes to catch up — ready, set, go!

5. Go to a music festival.

Summer is Festival Season! Take a look at the Festie Guru via ticketmaster for more information about this years UK and European Festivals.

6. Get fit!

Y’know all that running you’ve been talking about, that you’ve been super busy to do? Well, now is the perfect time!

7. Become a tourist in your hometown.

How much do you know about your hometown? Why not become a tourist for the day and visit your hometowns landmarks and heritage.

8. Hit the pub gardens.

If you’re of age, obviously. Pimms, please!

9. Host a family BBQ.

What better way to spend quality time with family?! It’s the perfect excuse to catch up with Auntie Sue, whom you’ve not seen since you were 5 years old.

10. Learn how to cook.

Start simple with a pizza or spagbol. If you can’t manage that, don’t worry you’ve got 2 months to learn!

11. Take a trip to IKEA

At some point during the Summer holidays you need to go shopping for Uni essentials. If you’re still unsure of what you’ll need, don’t worry, we’ve already made you a checklist!
